In order to support our operations in the US, we are looking to expand our operations team at mulitple customer locations across the US, e.g. Valdosta, GA.
I-care is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Reliability Engineer to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. You will champion continuous improvement by applying engineering principles to predict, manage, and extend the lifecycle of our equipment. Working closely with maintenance, operations, and technical teams, you will develop data-driven strategies to minimize downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure a safe, environmentally compliant workplace.
- Support a culture of safety by adhering to OSHA regulations and plant environmental standards.
- Support the maintenance team by updating and optimizing Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Help compile failure data and production metrics to identify trends, assisting in methodologies like Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Maintain accurate documentation for equipment lifecycles, critical spare parts, and reliability metrics.
- Utilize statistical tools and failure data, to identify trends and eliminate production "bad actors."
- Assist senior engineers and technicians in conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to understand equipment breakdowns and prevent recurrence.
- Partner with capital project teams during the design, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified assets.
- Collect and help analyze data from condition-based monitoring tools (such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance, to learn plant processes and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Participate in training and shadowing opportunities to build foundational knowledge in precision maintenance and reliability engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in reliability engineering, industrial manufacturing, or plant maintenance.
- Proven experience executing reliability methodologies, including FMEA, RCFA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
- High proficiency in utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP, Maximo, or similar platforms.
- Theoritacal knowledge of condition-monitoring technologies and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Familiarity with relevant U.S. engineering and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical issues to non-engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to effectively influence operations and maintenance teams to drive change without direct authority.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
