Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately processed.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations as needed.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Ensure all orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure efficient service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for processing payments.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is required.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe dining experience.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service is highly valued.
