Medical Technician – ANS Testing + RPM | $15/hr | Mon–Fri 8am–5pm | 1099 Contractor

About the Role:
We’re seeking al Medical Technician to support both ANS testing and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services in our clinics. This is a full-time 1099 contractor role that blends light diagnostic testing with patient tech setup and chronic care support.
Responsibilities:
ANS Testing (Circulation & Nerve Function):
- Set up patients with blood pressure cuffs, electrodes, and pulse oximeter
- Follow a computer-guided test process (10 minutes)
- Complete required documentation (5 minutes)
Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM):
- Screen eligible patients from the daily schedule using diagnosis codes
- Onboard patients by downloading the RPM app and connecting the Bluetooth blood pressure cuff
- Teach patients how to use the device and ensure compliance (4+ readings per week)
- Monitor patient adherence and follow up by phone when needed
- Notify the clinic of abnormal readings flagged by the system
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
- Comfortable with basic medical equipment and mobile apps
- Friendly and patient-focused with strong communication skills
- Familiar with EMRs (Athena, Epic, etc.) is a plus
- Detail-oriented and organized
