Radiation Therapist (R.T.(T)) – Radiation Oncology
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to provide safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician-prescribed treatment plans while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.
Key Highlights
- Pay: $34.58–$51.87/hour (based on experience)
- Full-time | Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Hours may vary based on treatment schedules and warm-up coverage
- On-call required
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Minimal travel to Biloxi
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately
- Position patients and verify treatment plans
- Perform CT simulations, imaging, and quality assurance activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records
- Educate and support patients throughout treatment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred
- Current ARRT certification (or eligible) and active Mississippi Radiation Therapy license
- 5+ years of radiation therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
