Job Overview
We are seeking a Baker to join our team at Krown Bakery in Anoka, MN! We are looking for someone who has a passion for baking, a willingness to learn new things, and a love for working within a team.
Responsibilities
- Scaling dough and batters; baking cookies, bars, fillings, glazes, and much more.
- Support the kitchen team in packaging baked goods and other food items for retail or wholesale purposes.
- Assisting kitchen staff with lunch orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Help with food production tasks such as mixing, assembling pastries, and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Closing duties such as dishes, sweeping, mopping, and more.
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper knife skills during food handling to ensure quality and safety.
- Assist in events or other operations as needed, supporting the team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, restaurant, or food production environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food industry standards including food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Kitchen experience involving cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Customer service background demonstrating effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques related to baking, catering, or restaurant operations is desirable.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
