The Commons of Providence and Providence Care Center has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Director of Facilities to lead the maintenance, safety, and physical plant operations of two beautiful senior living communities located along the shores of Lake Erie.

Position Summary
The Director of Facilities is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all operations of the Facilities Department in accordance with applicable regulatory and accrediting agency requirements. This role ensures the effective maintenance, safety, security, and overall functionality of the campus and its systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct facility maintenance, safety, and security programs.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures for all facility equipment and systems.
- Maintain an inventory of facility equipment and systems.
- Prioritize and schedule work orders, repairs, and maintenance services.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of:
- Heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Plumbing and water systems
- Electrical and electronic systems
- Communication systems
- Appliances and equipment
- Grounds and exterior areas
- Coordinate work performed by department personnel and outside contractors.
- Recommend improvements, renovations, and enhancements to the physical plant and grounds to the Executive Director.
- Serve as the facility's Safety Director and help ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience required.
- Residential care experience preferred.
