Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing surfaces to maintain pristine conditions
- Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, sanitation of high-touch surfaces, and restocking supplies to promote hygiene standards
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including cleaning patios or outdoor furniture and maintaining exterior cleanliness
- Practice proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to ensure safety at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests’ needs promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel cleaning or commercial janitorial services is highly desirable
- Previous hotel housekeeping or custodial experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with floor care methods such as carpet cleaning and polishing techniques
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various textiles efficiently
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to cleaning procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous for maintaining exterior spaces when required
