EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position focuses on maintaining and repairing HVAC and related building systems to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:

System Monitoring: Monitor building automation systems to support maintenance activities

Initial Response: Check mechanical systems for alarms or comfort concerns using visual and mechanical observations

Preventative Care: Maintain HVAC components by cleaning, replacing filters, and servicing moving parts

Troubleshooting Aid: Assist higher level staff in identifying issues with airflow, refrigerant flow, and electrical components

Material Planning: Estimate needed parts and supplies for maintenance projects

Facility Upkeep: Perform routine cleaning and general building maintenance

Note: This position is considered essential. You will be required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.

Work hours will vary. Incumbents work assigned shifts to cover 24/7 operations, which include:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
