Monday through Friday - 6am to 2:30pm
$25hr to start
A leader in the seismic protection designing and manufacturing spring isolators, rails, structural steel frames, bases, vibration pads, hangers, and other custom seismic protection solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Project Estimator to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: Seeking an organized professional who enjoys working with construction plans, preparing accurate estimates, and collaborating with internal teams to support successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate project estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for seismic protection products and related materials.
- Analyze project plans to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for customers.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
- Maintain organized project files and estimating documentation.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile estimates, track costs, and analyze project data.
- Assist with project handoffs after awarded contracts.
Qualifications:
- Previous estimating or construction project takeoff experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical construction plans.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the construction, manufacturing.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
