Shifts typically run 8:00pm to 6:00am
- Compensation is $14.00 - 17.00 per hour depending on prior experience.
- Raises are given according to merit. There is no minimum timeframe for our employees to receive raises.
- Must show up on time for all scheduled shifts.
Healthy Hound Playground is an upscale dog daycare and boarding kennel located in Sterling, VA. We are looking to hire folks whose personalities and work ethic will match the high standards we have set for this innovative dog daycare. You will enjoy working here if you love dogs and are diligent about following direction. Training is available for those new to the industry!
Overnight Attendant Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated, mature, responsible and reliable individual to work our overnight shift.
- Cleaning of the playrooms and other areas of the facility.
- Regular health checks on dogs in kennels.
- Keeping an ear out for any dogs that are in distress and notifying Facility Manager. If urgent medical care is needed, taking the dog upstairs to the emergency vet.
- Regular checks on all dogs in kennels to ensure no accidents have happened, and cleaning up if they have, ensuring the animal is properly cleaned as well.
- Comforting dogs that are stressed.
Required Candidate Qualities:
- Genuine love for dogs/animals
- Calm Disposition
- Excellent work ethic with an eye for detail.
- Able to Act Quickly when needed for the welfare of the dogs
- Punctuality & Reliable Attendance
- Able to work Holidays
- Must have Reliable Transportation
