France 44 Foods is looking for an enthusiastic Culinary & Catering Assistant to join our team in our event space. This is a hands-on role where no two days look the same — you'll help bring exceptional food experiences to life for our guests, afternoon into evening (with some flexibility along the way).
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with food preparation and execution for private events and catering in our event space
- Supporting the culinary team with cooking, plating, and service
- Jumping in wherever needed — whether that's behind the line or out front with guests
- Assist with catering prep, including slicing cheeses and meats and artfully assembling beautiful catering platters that reflect the quality France 44 is known for.
- Support the Catering Manager in organizing the daily and weekly schedule so everything runs smoothly.
- Keep the catering kitchen clean and organized — because a great kitchen is a happy kitchen.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of food service experience — you know your way around a kitchen.
- Line cook experience is a big plus, and pizza-making skills? We'd love to hear about it.
- Front-of-house experience is also highly valued — guests love a team member who can do it all.
- Previous catering experience is a bonus, but we're happy to train the right person.
- A creative culinary mind excited about contributing new ideas to a growing business.
- A team player with humility, a great attitude, and a genuine love for the craft.
