Delivery Driver
RC Willey is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team and help deliver outstanding service to our customers. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you'll be responsible for safely delivering and installing furniture, appliances, and other home products. Our drivers not only ensure timely and damage-free deliveries but also perform basic installations to guarantee customer satisfaction. We're looking for hardworking, customer-focused individuals who take pride in their work and represent RC Willey's commitment to excellence.
Training Pay: $24.00 per hour during the first 3 weeks of training.
Post-Training Earnings: $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
Regular Schedule: Monday-Saturday, with one weekday off and Sundays always off. Start time: 5:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck or other company vehicle to deliver merchandise to customers' homes.
- Inspect merchandise for damage and defects prior to loading and delivery.
- Load and unload heavy and bulky items safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the installation of furniture, appliances, and other merchandise as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive delivery experience.
- Coordinate with the delivery office and customers to resolve any issues during delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support delivery operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet goals.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and good driving history.
- Must obtain a DOT Medical Card within 90 days of employment.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Helpful but Not Required
- Previous experience in delivery, warehousing, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used for assembling or handling products.
- Strong customer service experience and a commitment to providing excellent service.
