KJH Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Lawn Crew Lead who leads by example, values teamwork, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
We're looking for someone who enjoys mentoring others while maintaining productivity, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Commercial mowing experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Professional references
- Pass an equipment operation and comfort assessment before hire
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a professional mowing crew
- Operate commercial mowing equipment safely and efficiently
- Drive company trucks and pull trailers
- Perform daily inspections and minor equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Use our smartphone app to:
- View daily schedules
- Track completed work
- Document job progress
- Communicate with the office
- Train and mentor crew members
- Deliver quality work while maintaining production goals

- Arrive ready to work by 6:50 AM every day
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat, humidity, cool temperatures, and changing weather
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
Schedule
- Full-time seasonal employment
- Mid-March through Mid-December
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Our goal is to work Monday-Thursday
- Fridays are typically an overflow day and are often a half day—or not needed at all
- Saturdays are overflow only and are rarely worked

Employees are typically laid off after the mowing season and may qualify for unemployment benefits during the winter, with opportunities to work snow and ice events as weather requires.
