Zen Dog Pet Care has spent 15 years becoming the company Peachtree Corners families trust with the animals they love like children. We are hiring 2-3 pet sitters and dog walkers, and we are picky on purpose.
Here is the honest version of the job. You will be alone in clients' homes, trusted with their keys and their pets. Dogs from 4 to over 100 pounds. Georgia weather in all four seasons. Poop is involved. Things will occasionally go sideways (a hiding cat, a weird lock, a dog that needs time to warm up to you), and you will need to follow instructions exactly, think on your feet, and know when to handle it yourself versus when to call. **WHAT THE WORK IS:**
- Dog walks and pet visits (15-60 minutes): walking, feeding, fresh water, treats, medications when needed, litter boxes, playing and snuggling
- Small house tasks during sits: mail, packages, plants, lights and blinds
- A short journal entry with photos after every visit (clients live for these)
- Overnight sits available if you want them (9pm-7am)
**WHAT YOU GET:**
- Pay is per visit, starting at $19 for the shortest visits and going up from there. Direct deposit every two weeks.
- Holidays pay time-and-a-half PLUS you keep 100% of the holiday fee clients pay. Most companies pocket that fee. We do not.
- 10-20 hours per week on average, built around YOUR availability ($400-$1,000+ per month depending on how much you take on)

**WHAT WE REQUIRE:**
- Professional pet care experience (sitter, vet tech, rescue volunteer, trainer, or similar); knowing basic dog and cat behavior is a real plus
- You live in 30076, 30022, 30096, 30097, or 30092 (Roswell, Alpharetta, Duluth, Norcross/Peachtree Corners)
- Smartphone, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check
- At least one weekend per month and one major holiday per year
- We operate 7am-10pm daily; the bulk of the work is 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
