Travel Radius: 75-mile radius rule applies

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our Maternity team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of Labor & Delivery experience and strong clinical skills caring for obstetric patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
This position requires flexibility to work both day and night shifts and the ability to care for obstetric, gynecological, and newborn patients in a fast-paced maternity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
- Assist with labor management, delivery, and obstetric procedures.
- Provide care and support to patients undergoing Cesarean sections.
- Care for postpartum patients and assist with recovery following delivery.
- Provide care to patients with gynecological conditions and procedures.
- Provide safe and appropriate care to newborns.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, anesthesia, neonatal staff, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Accurately document patient care in EPIC/Stork.
- Maintain patient and newborn safety throughout the care process.
- Respond appropriately to obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
- Float to Mother-Baby (MB) and, if needed, Pediatrics or other adult units. When outside the RN's specialty scope, the nurse may provide helping-hands/supportive assistance as appropriate.

Total Beds: 18
- 3 Triage Beds
- 2 Antepartum Beds
- 2 Operating Rooms for C-Sections
- 3 Recovery Beds
- 8 Labor & Delivery Beds
RN Ratio: 1:1 to 1:2, depending on patient acuity and assignment
Requirements
- 4–5 years of Labor & Delivery experience – Required
- Strong experience in obstetrics and maternity nursing
- EPIC/Stork experience required
- Must be comfortable working both day and night shifts
- Ability to float as needed
- Strong assessment, communication, and emergency-response skills
Required Certifications
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- NRP – Required

Pay: $64.00 - $67.00 per hour
