Maintenance Technician
Shift: 1st Shift (5AM – 1:30 PM) & 2nd Shift (1:30PM-10PM)
Location: City of Industry, CA
Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, disassemble, rebuild, and align precision machine tools and equipment
- Perform routine to complex machinery repairs and preventive maintenance
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and industrial machinery components
- Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot equipment
- Perform welding, machining, and fabrication tasks as needed
- Operate forklifts to move equipment and materials
- Maintain clean and safe work areas following 5S procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience or construction trades
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems a MUST!
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications
- Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial controls is a PLUS!
- Knowledge of Lock-out/Tag-out safety procedures
- U.S. person status required under ITAR regulations
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
- HAZWOPER certification
- Welding experience (all types)
- Experience with machine shop equipment including lathes and mills
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
