Job Duties of the Sales Consultant:
- Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
- Spend time with customers determining their needs and discussing vehicle options.
- Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features.
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
- Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collect payment; delivers automobile.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales.
