Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the Nashville, TN area. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, electrical systems, and mechanical components using schematics and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, ductwork, thermostats, building automation systems, and plumbing connections.
- Install new HVAC systems and equipment following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to repair or replace faulty components.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during service visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar field service role with construction or property maintenance background.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration if applicable, and building automation systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience with plumbing work related to HVAC systems is preferred.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; additional certifications such as HVAC/R or boiler licenses are a plus.
- Proficiency with hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
