Qualifications
- Current and valid RT license in the state of FL.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a respiratory, critical care, or long-term care setting.
- Excellent clinical skills with a focus on respiratory care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Manage and care for patients with respiratory needs, including airway management
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to residents, following established protocols and standards.
- Manage and maintain airways, including tracheostomy care
- Monitor and document residents' respiratory status and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate residents and families on respiratory conditions and care techniques
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
