Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Sandwich Artist to help create tasty, made-to-order sandwiches that keep our guests coming back for more. In this role, you’ll be the face of our restaurant, preparing food with care, managing customer orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean workspace. Duties
- Prepare sandwiches and other menu items following established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately.
- Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly service and upselling menu options when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including food handling and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions smoothly.
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant cleanliness.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
