We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC Vertical Mills, CNC Horizontal Mills, and CNC Lathes. The ideal candidate will ensure precision machining of components according to engineering specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This position will be for second shift and is a temporary to full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate and Maintain CNC Vertical Mills, Horizontal Mills, and Lathes, including tooling and work holding devices.
- Load raw materials, calibrate machines, and verify proper alignment before production.
Quality Control
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Maintenance & Documentation
- Conduct routine maintenance and keep machines clean and operational.
- Maintain accurate production records and report deviations from specifications.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or CNC certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC Vertical Mills, Horizontal Mills, and/or Lathes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controls.
- Knowledge of precision measurement and defect detection.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
