Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team at our Peach Valley Cafe in Celebration. Ideal candidates must have a positive can-do attitude and be able to work with others as a team, so we can deliver great food and great service to our guests.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Skills:
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
