Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery
- Deliver food orders accurately and promptly from the kitchen to guest tables
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries courteously, providing information about menu items or restaurant policies
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow
Skills
- Previous experience as a host or in a food service environment is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming, positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including phone etiquette and guest relations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in hotel or guest services can be an added advantage
