Civil Estimator (Water, Sewer & Earthwork)
Napa Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional with 2+ years of estimating experience in civil construction, specifically with water, sewer, and site development projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil construction projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
- Estimate water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, grading, and site utility work.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives.
- Work closely with project managers and operations to ensure smooth project handoff.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with bid submissions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and site utility construction.
- Experience estimating earthwork, grading, excavation, and underground utilities.
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications.
- Experience with estimating software (AGTEK) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
