Serve as the RN First Assistant during surgical procedures

Assist surgeons with exposure, hemostasis, tissue handling, and wound closure

Deliver exceptional preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
-
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and OR staff
-
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with facility standards
-
Promote patient safety and excellence in surgical outcomes

Active RN License
-
Minimum 3 Years of RNFA Experience Required

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification

Must meet all facility-specific health and compliance requirements

Thorough knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, medications, and perioperative nursing practices

Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills

EMR Experience: Cerner Millennium Preferred

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices

Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred

Current BLS card.
