About the Role
Mimi’s Comfort Care is looking for a dependable, compassionate Companion Caregiver to provide individualized support to our clients in their homes and communities.
This position is centered on companionship, safety, independence, and quality of life. You’ll spend meaningful time with clients, assist with appropriate daily activities, and help create a comfortable, supportive environment based on each client’s individual needs and preferences.
We’re a small, personalized care company, so we’re looking for someone who is reliable, patient, respectful, communicative, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
What You’ll Do
Provide friendly companionship and meaningful social interaction
Support clients with appropriate daily activities and routines
Assist with light meal preparation and household tasks related to the client’s care
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, activities, or community outings when assigned
Encourage independence while providing appropriate assistance and supervision
Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for the client
Follow client-specific instructions and agency policies
Communicate important observations, changes, concerns, or scheduling issues to the agency
Maintain client privacy and confidentiality
Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families
Provide dependable care according to the agreed-upon schedule
What We’re Looking For
Compassionate and dependable personality
Strong communication skills
Patience and respect for older adults and individuals who may need additional support
Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional boundaries
Reliable transportation when required for the assigned position
Ability to work independently in a client’s home
Previous caregiving, companion, home-care, senior-care, or related experience is a plus, but we’re willing to consider the right candidate
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or memory-related needs is a plus
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, if applicable to the assigned position

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
