Position Summary: The Accounting Manager position requires a professional, organized individual with the ability to take ownership of new projects. This role requires management of multiple projects simultaneously, accuracy in daily work, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the daily accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of the financial statements, and other duties as assigned. The Accounting Manager will be cross-trained in other functions and reports to the Controller.
Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

At least 2 years’ Accounting experience

Willingness to be very hands on

Minimum of Intermediate computer skills in Word programs
Duties (include but are not limited to):

Maintain financial reports, records, general ledgers and perform general bookkeeping for Parker Trutec, Inc.

Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaid insurance and accruals.

File quarterly CAT and Sales tax.

Monitor and follow up on receivables.

Review payroll reports, monthly accruals, and GAAP entries.

Projects and other duties as assigned.

Other duties as asked by the CFO.

Manage 2 Accounting Clerks

Own transactional accounting
Additional duties may be required as needed by Parker Trutec and our customers.
