American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and an active RN license (Standard or Compact).

Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
-
12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3x12 schedule
-
Required to work every other weekend and assigned holidays
-
Floating required to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
-
Uses Epic for charting
-
No block scheduling accommodations available

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand, no pending state licenses accepted

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
EKG Course/Telemetry test certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

Epic charting experience required
-
First-time travelers not accepted for this position

Prior Charge Nurse experience preferred

Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and telemetry remote monitoring required

Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and wound care/wound vac preferred

Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required for consideration

Utility bill in candidate's name matching current address within the last three months required for consideration

Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

Candidates must reside greater than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted for this assignment

Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted

Former INTEGRIS employees must have a minimum 1-year separation from the health system to be eligible
