Key Responsibilities
Software Developer / Desktop Support Level 2
- Respond to and resolve Level-1 and Level-2 support requests related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Support and maintain endpoints, peripherals, and internal systems—including VMware ESXi environments and Acronis Cloud Backup solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Urban machine interfaces, including connectivity, software updates, and integration with production systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure uptime, data integrity, and efficient system usage.
- Document recurring issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Development & Automation
- Support the development and maintenance of internal tools (AW-CANTOR) and utilities using scripting and programming languages.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and reports to support data-driven decisions.
- knowledge on creating and processing Crystal Reports.
- Collaborate with development teams using GitHub for version control and project management.
- Automate workflows and processes to enhance team productivity and reduce manual tasks.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Participate in identifying, testing, and deploying technical solutions that improve system performance or end-user experience.
- Work with system admins and development staff to ensure that infrastructure and code meet operational needs.
- Assist in training users and writing documentation for custom applications and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with:
- VMware ESXi administration and troubleshooting.
- SQL scripting, report generation, and data analysis
- Contribute to NetSuite development efforts through SuiteScript, saved searches, and workflow automation.
- Acronis Cloud Backup configuration and recovery.
- Interfaces of production machines such as Urban (welders, cleaners, etc.)..
- GitHub (or similar version control systems) for code collaboration and issue tracking.
- Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (prefered).
- Minimum 4 years of IT support, system administration, or development experience.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and use standard office equipment.

- Must be able to travel within the facility to support equipment on the production floor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,304.00 - $80,000.00 per year
