Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Plumber / Plumbing Mechanic to join our team. This position is primarily service-based, with some new construction and installation work as needed.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both occupied homes and active construction environments.
Role Breakdown
Experienced Plumbing Service Technician
- Perform maintenance and repair of residential and light commercial plumbing systems
- Complete home winterizations, seasonal openings, and general service work
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs
- Work closely with dispatch/office staff to manage scheduling and job flow
- Interact professionally and comfortably with customers in their homes
Experienced Plumbing Installation Mechanic
- Work on newly constructed and renovated homes
- Perform rough and finish work to a high standard
- Work independently as a Lead Mechanic or under the direction of a Lead Installation Mechanic
- Troubleshoot plumbing systems accurately and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and company vehicles
- Complete service tickets, notes, and documentation daily
- Communicate job status and updates with dispatch
- Recommend repairs or upgrades when appropriate
Install
- Sanitary system piping
- Domestic water lines
- Gas piping systems
- Plumbing trim (fixtures, faucets, toilets, etc.)
- Water heater
- Hydronic heating system piping
Qualifications
- 4+ years of plumbing experience (service and/or installation)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs and work in various conditions
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in both service and new construction plumbing
- HVAC knowledge or willingness to cross-train
- Experience working in high-end residential homes
