Popat Orthodontics & Madison Pediatric Dentistry is a privately owned specialty dental practice in North Central Phoenix seeking an exceptional clinical team member who is dual trained in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.
We are looking for someone who is clinically strong, dependable, warm with children and families, and comfortable moving between orthodontic and pediatric dental workflows. Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with orthodontic and pediatric dental procedures
- Provide excellent chairside support to doctors and clinical team members
- Create a calm, friendly, and positive experience for children, teens, parents, and adult patients
- Prepare rooms, instruments, and materials according to clinical protocols
- Take radiographs, scans, impressions, photographs, and other records as needed
- Support sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, post-op instructions, and treatment expectations
- Help maintain an efficient clinical schedule and smooth patient flow
- Work closely with both the orthodontic and pediatric dentistry teams
Required Experience
- Prior orthodontic assisting experience required
- Prior pediatric dental assisting experience strongly preferred
- Dual training or meaningful experience in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry preferred
- X-ray certification required, if applicable under Arizona requirements
- Coronal polishing certification preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine enjoyment working with children and families
