Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Infection Preventionist/Wound Care Nurse. The primary purpose of the IP position is to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct our Infection Control Program, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The Infection Preventionist is responsible for implementing and maintaining the multiple facets of the Infection Control Program.
The Wound Care responsibilities include preventing, identifying, and managing wounds and wound care treatments for residents. Provide direct wound care treatments; develop, implement, and update individualized wound care treatment plans; monitor and document wound progress, measurements, and treatment effectiveness.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree (RN) from an accredited school of nursing, college or university. Must be CPR certified.
Wound Care certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years clinical experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility.
Must have training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing practices.
Must possess a working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques to include universal precautions.
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
Certification in Infection Control preferred
Wound Care certification preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year
