Duties
- Safely operate your personal vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules. Domino's provides a delivery app that assisits you.
- Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting techniques, ensuring safe handling of heavy or bulky items
- Communicate professionally with clients upon delivery, building strong relationships through friendly and clear interactions
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Upsell additional products when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, including route driving and automobile transportation
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions and basic calculations accurately
- Exceptional customer service abilities with excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively
- Ability to perform lifting safely while following proper lifting practices in a retail setting
- Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, routes, and documentation efficiently
- Effective client communication skills to address questions or concerns professionally
