Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, and assisting with overall dining room operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience in food service or related industries. This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry. Compensation is $13.47/HR PLUS TIPS.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations as needed
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly
- Assist servers with food running and beverage service when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including floors, chairs, and tables
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold sanitation standards by cleaning service stations and adhering to health guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality industries is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning, bussing, serving, or food handling is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential
- Experience in hotel or food industry environments can be beneficial
- Previous roles involving customer service or hospitality will support success in this position
