Metalcrafters NC is hiring a Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabricator to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality stainless steel components for custom fabrication projects including stairs, railings, and architectural metal products.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Cut, shape, and assemble stainless steel & aluminum materials

Perform TIG and MIG welding, grinding, polishing, and finishing

Ensure accurate measurements and high-quality results

Inspect finished work and correct any defects

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all shop safety procedures and standards
-
Work alongside fabrication teams to meet production deadlines

Utilize the Metalcrafters app for accurate job tracking and accountability

Experience in stainless steel & aluminum fabrication

Proficiency in TIG and MIG (push pull) welding

Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math

Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Ability to think quickly and problem solve

Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience with polishing and finishing stainless steel products

Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment

Ability to read and execute from detailed shop drawings
