Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Support residents with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care strategies
- Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer residents or clients
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Support clients during outings or community activities by driving or accompanying them as needed
- Implement behavior management techniques for residents with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond swiftly during emergencies
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or retirement homes is highly desirable
- Proven background in providing personal care in home & community care settings or group homes
- Experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential
- Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, geriatrics, and long-term care environments is preferred
- Hands-on experience using EMR systems for documentation and record-keeping
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and heavy lifting safety practices
- Working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges demonstrates versatility and compassion in caregiving roles

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
