We are looking for a quick learner and detail oriented part-time fulfillment specialist to join our team. The role spends very little time sitting at a desk, it requires standing, packing orders, and moving inventory for daily warehouse and fulfillment operations.
The role is 15-20 hours/week, 3-4 days a week with a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule (some flexibility); during business hours, starting at 8:30am.
You will work closely with the Operations team to fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately to execute an exceptional customer experience and uphold our brand values. This role reports to the Director of Operations and is required to be in-person in our Presidio office headquarters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Order fulfillment for multi-channel customer orders
- Responsible for reviewing, printing, packing and shipping orders
- Meet fulfillment KPIs - fulfillment speeds, productivity, and accuracy
- Maintain brand standards for customer unboxing experience
- Navigate technology platforms easily
- Support inventory and warehouse activities
- Execute daily order prep, inventory transfers, receiving shipments, cycle counts
- Organize and execute weekly team prep and box making
- Maintain an organized and clean fulfillment area
- Support planning, reordering activities and special projects
- Team communication and coordination
- Monitor Slack & Email for order updates and urgent issues
- Follow internal processes and procedures
- Work with Operations team to ensure all customer queries & shipping concerns are resolved
- Flag unusual customer orders, shipping carrier issues and system issues
- Bring a positive, professional and proactive attitude to work each day
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years experience fulfilling orders and/or warehouse operations
- Detailed oriented and organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Highly self-motivated individual and capable of working independently
- Experience with Shopify, ShipStation and related technologies is a plus
- Experience with large retailer fulfillment and guide requirements is a plus
- Position requires standing for periods of time & lifting, up to 40 lbs
- Must be available to work in-person in San Francisco, CA
