We are partnering with a well-established public accounting firm seeking a Tax Accountant with 3–5 years of public accounting experience to join its growing team. Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and individuals

Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients

Research tax issues and assist with tax planning and consulting projects

Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings

Collaborate with partners and senior staff on client engagements and advisory initiatives

Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

Assist with special tax projects and client consulting engagements

Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements

3–5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax

Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing priorities

Must reside within the Eastern or Central time zone

Candidates with less experience should be available for occasional travel to the Allentown, PA office for training and collaboration

Highly experienced candidates may qualify for a fully remote arrangement with minimal travel
