Shower Aide
Location: Chesterton Manor
Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Shower Aide to join our dedicated team at Chesterton Manor, a skilled nursing facility providing quality rehabilitative care and excellent long-term care. As a Shower Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the physical and emotional well-being of our residents by assisting with daily living activities, including bathing, showering, and grooming.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, showering, and grooming activities, ensuring their safety and dignity
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and caring environment
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with other care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in resident assessments and evaluations, reporting changes or concerns to the care team
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care activities
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed CNA in this state
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with ease
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing compassionate care to seniors
