Pay Range: $30.75 – $44.68/hour (based on experience)
- ~5 years: $34.87/hr
- ~10 years: $39.04/hr

Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hr Nights | +$1.50/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)

Job Description
Position Overview
Join a collaborative, high-acuity 26-bed Cardiac Neuro Stroke Unit caring for patients with stroke, neuro, cardiac, and med-surg conditions. This role offers exposure to advanced equipment including Baxter pumps, GE Telemetry, and bladder scanners, with a patient ratio of 1:6. Ideal for RNs passionate about neuro and telemetry care who want strong teamwork, supportive leadership, and opportunities for clinical growth.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and interpret patient health data to develop safe and effective care plans
Monitor vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide patient/family education
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient safety
Qualifications
Required:
Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care Med-Surg or Telemetry RN experience
ADN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days
BLS within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months
Considered:
Acute Rehab RNs (Kindred, Encompass, HealthSouth, Select Specialty) comfortable working in a Stroke Unit
