Pay: This position offers a base pay of $17 per hour, with an additional $2-$4 in tips ($19.00 per hour guaranteed).
Benefits: In your first 1-4 years with us, you can earn 10 days of paid time off each year. After 5 years, this increases to 15 days annually. We’ve got you covered with medical, vision, dental insurance, and 401k. You will also enjoy complimentary meals each shift to help you become familiar with our menu!

Summary:
The Assistant Manager will work alongside the Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assists in Hiring and training of restaurant staff.
- Assists in organizing and overseeing the staff schedules.
- Assists in conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with policy.
- Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Assists in preparation of food items.
- Assists at fry, grill, salad, and expo station.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the service experience.
- Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
- Oversees food and beverage costs.
- Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
- Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Periodically evaluates equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
- Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
- Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the regional manager.
- Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan ensuring selection of highly qualified personnel.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of 1-3 years related management experience in the food service or restaurant industry.
- Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment

The employee may be exposed to extreme heat or cold and must use caution when in those situations. The employee may also be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
