Overview
We are seeking a versatile and highly organized professional to fill the role of Shipping and Receiving Specialist for a vertically integrated hemp extraction laboratory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various facets of our organization, supporting laboratory operations and logistical procurement processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to multitasking in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to expand operational efficiencies under the guidance of laboratory manager.
- Provide work flow forecasting, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and correspondence handling
- Assist in laboratory operations by coordinating inventory, managing and preparing supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols under the guidance of Lab Manager
- Prepare, review, and process sales orders and ensure proper packaging ang boxing protocols are used for logistical procurement.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, DocuSign, and other office tools for daily tasks
- Support project coordination efforts across departments to ensure timely completion of objectives

Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and office management software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent communication skills with professional experience.
- Knowledge of event planning logistics and project coordination techniques
- Attention to detail for proofreading, data entry accuracy, and document transcription
- Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, record keeping, and other lab responsibilities
- Experience working in laboratory or scientific environments is a plus but not required
