American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab or acute care experience for a 13-week travel contract at a specialty hospital setting.

8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Schedule options: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Inpatient rehab or acute care setting

Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab or acute care PT experience in a US hospital required

Degree in Physical Therapy required

Active PT state license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable

BLS certification required (AHA only)

First Aid certification preferred

CPI certification required for this position

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

US Social Security Number required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation, program planning, and administration of physical therapy treatment to patients across applicable age groups

Develops individualized, age-appropriate plans of care based on physician referral and PT evaluation findings

Performs detailed clinical assessments and accurately documents all patient treatment
-
Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and must be adaptable to new and changing work assignments

Must be available to work one holiday if needed
