Virtue Behavior Consultants, Inc. provides in-home therapy services based on the principles of human behavior to children with autism. Our small team is committed to providing consistent, high quality services.
We are seeking the perfect candidate to join our team. This team member will be responsible for running therapy sessions in some or all of the following geographical areas: Lake in the Hills, Cary, Sleepy Hollow, Huntley, and Hampshire. We are looking to fill morning/daytime time slots (9am-12pm; 1pm-4pm) and after school slots (3:15-6:15pm; 4:30-6:30pm). Therapists are expected to commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week and attend mandatory monthly team meetings.
Our goal is to have our new team member fully trained and ready to start running his/her own therapy sessions within a couple weeks. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree OR be currently enrolled in a 4-year program in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Have experience working with children
- Have or be willing to obtain the RBT credential
- Have a self-starter attitude
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and a high level of integrity
- Be a strong team player
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to walk for at least 15 minutes. Stooping, sitting on the ground, crouching, crawling, and getting down to kids’ levels will also be required.
