Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to optimize handling and safety.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs with precision.
- Service vehicle electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic components to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, managing auto estimating processes, and ensuring transparency throughout the service experience.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software, schematics, and wiring diagram interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle transmission system repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, alignments, and transmissions is essential.
- Proficiency with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed repair procedures accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward maintenance and repair tasks.
