The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) accumulates an extremely large amount of data related to investigations that needs to be transcribed for legal analysis, courtroom proceedings or consumption by the public. The BCA provides typed transcription of audio, video or other forms of communication related to cases they are involved with. Due to the large volume and sensitive nature of the data, it is paramount that the transcription speed and accuracy are top notch.

This position will assist in the organization and redaction of case files and other BCA material associated with the BCA’s mission.
This position will also be part of the BCA’s Force Investigative Unit and will be taking dictation and providing transcription for major cases within this unit.
