Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food prep stations efficiently and safely
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and baking
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures comply with food safety regulations and sanitizing protocols
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials
- Maintain high-volume production levels while adhering to recipe consistency and presentation standards
- Support the team in food production for catering events or large orders as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or high-volume kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Skilled in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a culinary environment
- Background in dietary aide or dietary department work is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality
