Summary of the General Manager Position:
The General Manager is responsible for operations of the restaurant, with a major focus on leading and developing a team of employees in effectively performing their daily tasks while maintaining high standards for food, service, and health and safety. As well as ensuring proper product preparation, inventory control, personnel management and sales and marketing efforts.
Requirements for a Managers:
- 90 day training period paid at $25 per hour, full time 40 hours per week. After training period determination will be made for final position at all listed benefits and pay.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with FIFO based restaurant inventories
- Experience with Food and Labor Cost
- Three (3) years of high-volume restaurant supervisory experience, including some experience in a quick service or fast casual dining environment
- Experience with revenue and expense accounts and impact on store profitability
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work in a team-focused environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent verbal, written and communication and interpersonal skills
- ServSafe / Food Handling certificate
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence to travel as required
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule to account for weekends and holiday
- Ability to travel and complete the paid management training program per franchise agreement
- Training will take 2-5 months while in our training program
- Training will require the flexibility to work in multiple locations and minor travel
- Step by step training to learn operations will be conducted by current General Managers and the Director of Operations
