American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a
-
Every other weekend required

Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister campuses

Epic EMR used; experience required

Radiation badge required and must be provided prior to start

Active SC RRT license required; license must be in hand at time of consideration

License required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT

Epic EMR experience required

Social Security card and driver's license required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Candidates who were previously permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible

Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) may be considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs

Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date

During hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
