Tool and Die Maker
Location: Holly, MI
Company: Delta Tube & Fabricating Company
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in production.
Pay range is $23 - $30/hour depending on experience.
Regular Hours: Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Fabricate, assemble, and test dies, gauges, and fixtures to exact tolerances
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing tools and dies
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes
- Collaborate with maintenance on machine repairs.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker (apprenticeship or equivalent training preferred)
- Knowledge of machining, metallurgy, and precision measurement tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
